Our Purpose
The purpose of The Oakland Casting
Club is to promote and cultivate fly, spin and bait casting techniques
and practices for sport and recreation. The Club sponsors contests that teach and encourage casting skills, and offers
expert instruction to all, from beginners to experienced casters. We also provide demonstrations on the proper use of
various tackle, advice on rod building and offer fly tying instructions.
Free Lesson Days: Third Saturdays from March through
July.
Lesson Hours: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
